July 14 & 15 Physiology of Learning
Carla Hannaford reveals the science behind the many ways to support or enhance perception and learning. Participants will understand how movement, the senses, and the electromagnetic energy of the heart, in combination with the whole human nervous system, affect learning from utero through our golden years. This is an experiential course where participants will learn particular movements that enhance their ability to focus, process and communicate without stress. This will be a very active two days of discovering the keys to whole-brain whole-body connections.

(Participants must have completed BrainGym 101 or physiology of learning to take the vision circles course)
Course participants will further understand the relationship between vision, perception, sensory processing, and attention in connection with the whole nervous system - body, mind and heart. Learn movements and exercises for natural vision improvement and enhance a variety of skills:
Perceptual skills of seeing, hearing, touching and relating to gravity.
Cognitive skills of thinking, questioning and processing information.
Expressive skills of feeling, movement and creating communication.
Vision circle exercises involve developmental skills through movement, play, art and vision awareness activities. This course will also be of interest if you experience or know someone who has difficulty reading, fatiguing vision, or experiences stress in how they perceive some daily life situations. Vision Circles, © first developed in 1986 by Dr.s Gail and Paul Dennison, is an approved course by the Educational Kinesiology Foundation.
