Spontanous Painting

 

Welcome to a most creative, exciting and easy way to tap into your subconscious and release blocked creativity! Whether you have ever painted before is irrelevant! Participants may expect to be indulged in an atmosphere of nurturance and calm created through meditation, music and silent painting. With no plan, and no emphasis on product, but process, the subconscious is freed up to surprise you with images that you alone may interpret to inform and soothe your spirit. One is guaranteed a deeply enriching experience of being Fully in the Present; and with such a thought-free playground, your Inner Child will revel in spontaneous creativity.

Relaxaction Morning

 

An opportunity for you and your to take time for yourself in the company of like minded people.

How will we do this together? We will experience and explore a number of relaxation techniques so that you can tune in to yourself and choose what works best for you.

These techniques will be interspersed with creative activities that allow us to enjoy each other and have fun together.

This day is about accessing group synergy and allowing ourselves to be inspired by one another. It is about flow and flexibility. Group energy is a powerful tool. This workshop helps bring about a  greater awareness of group energy. In order to do this we use a combination of the following; movement, ensemble work, improvisation, music and ritual. The workshops assists communication on many levels.

The Winds of Change

 

Suitable for groups undergoing change or about to be part of change. Bringing the desired transformation into the physical through the visual. A process involving paint and collage is the core   tool of the day, the artistic creation is a reminder of choices made and can go back to the workplace   as focus for moving forward. The aim is to help the group understand and embrace change.

Creative Wind down

 

A gentle day to spend time together in a relaxing atmosphere. We replace the written word as the means to evaluate with mixed media, paint, body sculpting and movement work. Through these    pieces we recognise and honour what has been useful and let go that which no longer serves us.       This workshop helps reveal many layers to the work undergoing evaluation and by doing so assists clearer communication. It helps the voice of all members to be heard.

 

These training days are facilitated by centre director Mary Pat Moloney. Each workshop can be adapted to the specific requirements of the group to get maximum benefit from the time in Croi Anu.

July 14 & 15 Physiology of Learning

Carla Hannaford reveals the science behind the many ways to support or enhance perception and learning. Participants will understand how movement, the senses, and the electromagnetic energy of the heart, in combination with the whole human nervous system, affect learning from utero through our golden years. This is an experiential course where participants will learn particular movements that enhance their ability to focus, process and communicate without stress. This will be a very active two days of discovering the keys to whole-brain whole-body connections.

Course participants will further understand the relationship between vision, perception, sensory processing, and attention in connection with the whole nervous system - body, mind and heart. Learn movements and exercises for natural vision improvement and enhance a variety of skills:


 Perceptual skills of seeing, hearing, touching and relating to gravity.
 Cognitive skills of thinking, questioning and processing information.
 Expressive skills of feeling, movement and creating communication.


Vision circle exercises involve developmental skills through movement, play, art and vision awareness activities. This course will also be of interest if you experience or know someone who has difficulty reading, fatiguing vision, or experiences stress in how they perceive some daily life situations. Vision Circles, © first developed in 1986 by Dr.s Gail and Paul Dennison, is an approved course by the Educational Kinesiology Foundation.

Cost €200
